Jobs and Careers
Volunteering role with excellent benefits!
The University is actively seeking students to volunteer as Jump Ambassadors. The role involves spreading the word about our highly successful sustainability and wellbeing scheme, Jump, through the student community. The link to the scheme is below.
In return for your efforts, you will receive a year's free IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) student membership. This membership will give you access to networking, training, events, webinars and publications that could give you a head start in a career linked to sustainability, if you want to go down this route. Even if you don’t, the employability skills developed will be easily transferable to other careers.
To become a Jump Ambassador, you simply need to attend a two hour training session and then it’s up to you how you recruit other members and spread the word about Jump. We will hold sign-up events every now and again throughout the year, which you can join in with if you wish and will also hold informal Ambassador meetings to exchange ideas and plan our attack! The role of a Jump Ambassador is also included on your Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR) which you get when you graduate, again helping employability.
If you want to become a Jump Ambassador, or have any questions about Jump, please contact Kate Cathie firstname.lastname@example.org
